The Ogboni Edan Figures are brass castings placed on iron shafts and joined by a chain. The figures symbolize the original founding couple of the Ogboni culture. The Ogboni figures are highly artistic and were worn about the neck of an initiate and carried in public as a sign of office and protective amulet.
