The Boki, Bekarum association used cap masks in the form of an antelope head carved from wood with antelope hide and real antelope horns.  The masks were preserved with palm oil and  wrapped with leaves and stored in the kitchen surrounded by a smoky atmosphere.  These masks were used in hunting celebrations, initiations and funerals.
