Masks of the Guere share stylistic characteristics of the Dan or Wobe and are often collectively referred to as We.  This powerful Guere mask was used for social control during altercations  between lineage members and also during combat with different clans.  The mask has painted tubular eyes, horns on the forehead, open mouth and lower portion covered in fur and cow tail.
